Crock Pot Pasta Dish

The other night Aaron and I were craving a pasta dish, and we haven’t used our crock pot in a while so we decided to try this out. It turned out to be very tasty. This recipe was in our 3-ingredient cookbook, so easy! For anyone with a couple of hours to spare it is well worth it.

For 2 people:

Boil 1/2 pound of bowtie pasta for 5 minutes. Strain then mix with 8 ounces of Alfredo sauce and .75 cup of Parmesan cheese. Top with another .75 cup of cheese and turn to low for ~1.5 hours. Pair with a salad and you are good to go!

Note: Stir occasionally so the outsides don’t burn. We also added some tomato and bacon bits, so feel free to make it your own with your favorite toppings.

How did the bowties turn out with being cooked for so long? Al dente or softer?

  2. Looks tasty. I don’t have a crockpot, but it’s still giving me ideas!

I have also done something very similar just by boiling pasta of course. The main idea is just a great go to easy pasta staple that performs every time.
